OVERVIEW

The route, which starts and ends at Slanghoek Cellar, comprises a 13km ride with an optional extra 4km loop.

On your bike

The 13km route is suitable for beginners and the whole family, crossing streams with bridges and cycling through a camp with game! The optional extra 4km loop is more challenging and technical with some great climbs and downhills, for the fitter and more experienced rider.

Off the bike

Slanghoek Cellar, in conjunction with Jason’s Hill, now offer guests picnic baskets by request.Freshwater angling and bird-watching on the Breede River, as well as mountain trekking and solo climbing in the awe-inspiring Hex River mountains make this a veritable paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. The ATKV Goudini Spa, set within stunning mountain surrounds, allows you to relax in hot, natural springs to re-energise both body and soul.
