My personal favourite – if I had to choose just one route – would have to be the free-as-a-bird flow of the Purple Cow route, bombing alongside herds of Holstein and Hereford cattle grazing peacefully in grassy green meadows. These make for pastoral farm scenes at their best, over the mountain streams, through rolling over hills and across magic wooden bridges.
