Marlu Farm Stays is ideal for some leisurely farm jeep track exploration and game seeing.

On your bike

Be warned: the main 10km route includes some adventurous riding. Shortly after the windmill turn off, riders must jump a little fence, and then follow animal tracks to the river. Follow the water for a few hundred meters to a rocky crossing, from where you will follow animal tracks again – finally joining up to a lovely smooth jeep track leading to an old windmill. Back-track a short distance, and head back to the main house.

There are 3 Long Distance options for the Endurance Mountain Biker. These routes are very safe, carrying you along super quiet Karoo district roads, and past some of the most breathtaking archaeological scenery in South Africa.

Off the bike
