On your bike

Crank from Getaway Farmhouse into the ridges rising up to meet these flat-topped plateaus on trails blasting into scrubby underbrush, negotiating devil thorns and cow pats along your way. Most of the riding is along jeep track and gravel farm roads, linking onto fantastic sections of oh so sublime single-track.

The sense of place is enhanced by sandstone fence posts, old stone walls ruins and rusty farm gates, replete with hand-wound wire loops to force you to take time out. The mountain bike trail is clearly marked and forms part of the infamous Koranna Two Mountain MTB Challenge. Opt for the ‘Two Mountains Route’ if you’re keen on a technical ride with a variety of terrain to test your skills and fitness.

There are several beautiful natural areas, with plentiful vegetation, fauna & flora, panoramic views, magnificent rock formations. Wake up to the sound of farm life and experience the tranquil atmosphere.  Beautiful picnic spots, playground on site a paradise for children exploring a place full of trees and bird life provide hours of fascinating natural rock pools. Fishing in numerous dams and streams with freshwater fish, like bass, carp and barbel.
