A circular route around Blackhill – a lesser known area in the Table Mountain National Park range. This trail can be quite sandy, so it’s best tackled in winter or after rains which makes the ground nice and firm. If you have battled the sand in summer though, then there is a great dam for having a swim in to cool down.
There is a relatively new section of track on the western side of the Glencairn expressway; superbly bermed, and with butt-clenching table-tops, jumps and huge drops – which links the purpose-built XC here on Black Hill.
