The 1 100 hectare of natural veld that is Abba Game Lodge is home to a variety of wildlife species including zebra, giraffe, bush pigs and a wide diversification of buck species, not to mention the abundant bird life.
On your bike
The route begins in the camp site and there is a steady climb for the first 3 – 3.5 km on eroded jeep track (which can become quite technical in wet weather). After the climb, the ride flattens out over the plateau, followed by a fast descent which ends at a farm gate. At this point, you turn around and rides back the way you came.
One can get quite close to the game, and stopping on the plateau to watch the animals is very rewarding.
Off the bike
Experience the abundance of bird life and the thrill of wildlife in an area that boasts 52 tree species, exotic game within walking distance of your camp, and where you can luxuriate in all year-round superb sunny weather in the splendour of the illustrious Bushveld. Fishing on a catch and release basis, hiking, putt-putt, volleyball, outdoor chess and braaiing next to the hot and cold swimming pools.
