On your bike
Kick off from Algeria along reasonably good gravel before cranking into a steep climb after 5 km along the Cederberg Pass. Cross a multitude of cattle grids along the next 25 km of undulating gravel and turn right where the road forks. A steep and winding downhill bangs you down into the Kromrivier resort – a perfect place to relax and replenish water before taking on the return ride. This rugged route traverses a fantasy world where dramatic rock formations with names like Wolfsberg, Wegwaai and Hartseer loom within the weathered sandstone panorama.
