Adventurous routes with some hike-a-bike sections in the town-titled “Valley of Dreams”. This is not your typical manicured trail – it’s rough and loose! Not a route for beginners, or those on gravel bikes. But the terrain and wildlife is amazing, as are the breathtaking views of unexplored valleys and the Berg River Dam.
The trailhead officially starts at an entrance gate on Robertsvlei Road, and from here you’ve got access to breath-taking Boland mountain-views, valley vistas, 14% gradient ascents, unsteady descents… all for the price of a R80 day permit.
