Dunkeld Country Estate allows you to train at high altitude while treating yourself to game viewing over your handlebars on 36km of hand-built natural trails that cross several bridges and numerous streams along single-track pathways. Their three unique trails lying above 2,000m, will force you to crank a bit harder in the crisp, thin air on the outskirts of the quaint town of Dullstroom.
On your bike
Treat yourself to game-viewing on your mountain bike amongst blesbok, duiker, oribi, red hartebees, black wildebeest, eland, ostrich, zebra and the very rare black springbok. The Blue Forest Trail is the shortest trail at 7.6km, but also the most challenging as you negotiate water crossings, obstacles, wooden bridges and a maximum slope of 18.7°. The Orange Mountain Trail (14.5km) offering cool kloof single-track and the Green Trout Trail (12.7km) will complete your cranking experience.

Dunkeld Country Estate offers fly-fishing in dams, clay pigeon shooting, archery, horseback riding and birdwatching.
