OVERVIEW
Enjoy great cranking in this classic Karoo setting, offering absolute silence and stunning views over the arid plains broken by the verdant cut of the Little Fish River. The farm boasts with five MTB trails undulating through Karoo bushland, kloofs and mountains. More than 90% of the trails are single-track whereof 60km are purpose-built and designed by Lex Holmes.
On your bike
Green Route: A non-technical, family friendly 29 km ride which takes in some of the sights of the farm including the river and a beautiful dam.
Blue Route: Takes you 23 km through some slightly more challenging terrain.
Red Route: 38 km long, covers all the more challenging sections as well as visiting all the scenic portions of the farm.
Black Route: Combines the Red and Green Routes into a 45 km ride which will appeal to the more active riders.
In addition to the tranquillity of the Karoo, enjoy the bonus of watching herds of Gemsbok and Kudu!!!
Off the bike
Wilton also offers hiking, horse riding, camping, quad biking and you are welcome to enjoy the farm activities, especially at sheep-shearing time. Or have a lovely picnic basket at the dam!
