OVERVIEW
Discover incredible mountain bike trails on jeep tracks and gravel roads in a lost valley of the Eastern Cape. A couple of farmers laid out these routes along the Thomas River, revealing staggering views and an interesting variety of challenges.
On your bike
The routes offer everything; rocks, sand, water, tough hills and rapid descents, spectacular scenery and spectacular views.There are easy trails along the river as well as steeper trails up to the top of the mountains which rise 300m above the valley, so riders can adapt their route to suite their fitness levels.
Off the bike
Fantastic birding, fly and bait fishing (yellowfish, barbel,carp, eel), cycad walks, rock art, game viewing, 4×4, etc.
