This route begins from Malealea to Ramabanta and is mostly gravel road and some good single track. This is also the route for stage 2 of the Lesotho Sky(www.lesothosky.com) stage race.
On your bike
From Malealea to Ramabanta, this ride consist of mostly back country gravel road with some good single track in the last quarter. Overall this last part requires moderate to hard trail riding skills. The river crossing here can quickly become a challenge in rainy season (Nov-Jan), do not attempt after heavy rainfall! Alternatives to the last quarter are the 20km longer route via the main gravel road and the village Moitsupeli.
