OVERVIEW
Experience the uniquene tranquility of the Little Karoo at Ravenna Mountain Retreat, nestled between the majestic Langeberg Mountains and rugged Karoo koppies on a fruit farm.
On your bike
There are 2 routes to ride from the farm. The shorter route is about 26km and the longer route is about 38km. Or cycle the back roads to Montagu which is about 60km there and back.
Off the bike
Within close proximity is the Poortjieskloof dam for angling, a trout farm, private wine cellar, excellent 4×4 routes & horse riding.(arranged on request). Nature lovers can enjoy a variety of indigenous birds and the diversity of the local flora ranging from Cape fynbos to Karoo bushveld and succulents. There are various hiking trails on the farm and in the Langeberg Mountains. For the less adventurous, swim in the farm dam or laze around the pool with magnificent views. Dining, meeting and games (board games, table tennis) room situated in the old stables.
