Take in one of Cape Town’s classic viewpoints…
On your bike
Blast off from the metal boom – 500m before you reach the Signal Hill parking-lot – onto a seriously steep jeep track dipping towards the City Bowl. Access is also possible from other points along the tarmac road. Approximately 2km of gnarly downhill awaits, switch-backing along rock-shocked dirt tracks before banging onto the stairwells and alleyways of Bo-Kaap.
Off the bike
Hike up Platteklip Gorge to the top of Table Mountain and do a death-defying abseil with Abseil Africa; check out the pubs, clubs and restaurants in Long Street and Cape Town Waterfront.
