OVERVIEW
Located in the picturesque Magaliesberg Mountains, Sparkling is the perfect escape from city life. The name is derived from the water in the Krom River flowing along the property. The river and vegetation make the grounds beautiful and create interesting opportunities for out activities.
On your bike
Awesome jeep and singletrack is abundant with splendid views of the scenic Buffelspoort Valley and Dam. The highlight (or challenge) of the ride is taming the “Monster”, a tough 9 km of pristine climbing through awesome rock formations until one reaches the top of Breedtsnek with magnificent 360º views, and then an exhilarating 6 km ride down the Maanhaarrand dirt road reaching speeds of 80km/h.
Off the bike
Enjoy all the activities the hotel offers, like mini golf, table tennis, walking trails, crossbow shooting. Also a visit to the Health Spa is well worthwhile. The Magaliesberg Canopy Tour operates from the front gate.
